For applying for a language course visa, our Intensive Course is the appropriate course option.
The Intensive Course comprises 20 lesson units per week and takes place in small international groups. This allows you to develop your German skills systematically while preparing the course registration required for your visa application.

Let us know your current language level, when you would like to start and how long you would like to attend a German course.
2. Registration
After discussing the details with you, you register for the desired Intensive Course.
3. Course Fee Payment
Once payment has been received, we will provide you with the corresponding payment confirmation.
4. Documents for Your Visa Application
We will provide you with a registration confirmation, confirmation of course fee payment and any other course-related documents you may need individually.
5. Visa Application
With these documents, you can submit your application to the German diplomatic mission responsible for you. Which additional documents are required depends on your personal situation and the requirements of the responsible authority.
6. Course Start in Freiburg
Once you have successfully entered Germany, your German course with us in Freiburg will begin.

Which additional documents do I need for the visa?
This depends on your personal situation and the requirements of the German diplomatic mission responsible for your application. In addition to the documents related to your language course, you may need to provide further supporting documents. Please make sure to contact the responsible diplomatic mission in good time to find out about the requirements applicable to your application.
When should I register for the course?
If you need a visa, we recommend starting the planning and registration process as early as possible, as processing a visa application can take some time.
Can I choose my preferred course period?
The course period is arranged individually with you and depends on your plans and available course places.
What happens if my visa application is rejected?
If your visa application is rejected, the cancellation and refund terms set out in our Terms and Conditions apply. In the event of a documented visa rejection, the special provisions specified therein apply. We recommend carefully reviewing the relevant terms before registering.
Can I also participate with an existing language level?
Yes. Before the course begins, your current language level will be taken into account so that you can be assigned to a suitable course or course level.
